PI Training Academy

A well-trained security officer is a client’s greatest asset.

Our desire to develop security officers confident in their ability to perform written post orders at the highest levels and always be present to execute a site’s security plan define our academy. Premium Investigations training academy prepares security officers for what can and will sometimes take place, regardless of the security detail they’re assigned. We’ve taken the lecture format which makes up the 8 Hour Pre-Assignment, General 16 Hour On-the Job and 8 Hour In-Service training courses and turned them into dynamic, engaging sessions. The state-required content is presented in a manner which engages the students and has them physically learning real life on-site scenarios comparable to what their post orders will be. These are not just basic classes to qualify for a NYS security license; they are classes that will make our security officers stand out with their knowledge and performance.

Premium Investigations places great emphasis on these initial 24 hours of course study. Security officers are required to learn defensive tactics and de-escalation techniques with continual annual training. Additionally, our security officers are taught the full spectrum in Basic Life Support, including Stop the Bleed. We have a single opportunity to set the proper foundation, producing confident knowledgeable security officers ready to perform at and above their clients’ expectations.

All training academy courses will be held at 1988 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12205.

Site-Specific/Cross Site Training

Site-Specific training minimizes a sites turnover rate allowing continuity to build within the security officer ranks promoting a gradual strengthening of company and client trust.

Too many security officers feel overwhelmed upon arriving on site. The 8 Hour Pre-Assignment alone is not geared to prepare them for the demands of their post orders.

In this course, security officers will learn the general ins and outs of the site they will soon be protecting. At the clients or building managers direction, additional Site-Specific training will be taught.
